The rain has continued non-stop here and is expected to carry on over the next few days.
The fear mongering powers that be told us to expect a terrifyingly hot dry season due to ever increasing climate change.
Well we are 10C below the average temperature for this time of year, and the ponds are overflowing with life giving water!
The rain and cold are keeping us from the garden, but cozy life and movement inside and outside of the cottage continues. Above you can see where I’ve repurposed old curtains and other thrifted items for practical use.
A beautiful branch from a pruned apple tree responds to the warmth of the cottage. Life is everywhere if you just give it a chance!
During one of our walks we stopped to photograph the old general store that served this little hamlet up until about 10 years ago.

Mother nature is not to be feared, but rather it is the corporate wheels of power who are not to be trusted. The pattern of outcomes has been clearly established.
