Avril Cottage

Here at Avril Cottage, Spring makes a slow and welcome appearance. So many blogs and vlogs showcase their worlds in full bloom before the last of the snow has even left our gardens.

The grassy lawn is visibly greener today, lush and thickening.

The nourishing rain ended this morning, yesterday was spent indoors cooking, drinking tea, and reading.

Planting the potager patch will happen once things dry out a bit. Too wet today. But the birds were fed and one of the friendly chickadees joined me on the porch to say hello!

This is a time of waiting.

So many plans to put in place, so many ideas to put into action.

Hurry up Spring, but not too fast.

Come at the right time.
